2020 really didn't disappoint even in the seemingly unexplained mysterious UFO department. On December 29, 2020, around 8:30 p.m. local time, several people noticed the flying object with a blue haze hovering over Oahu, Hawaii.
One of the first witnesses to the sighting named Moriah described the UFO as being longer than a telephone pole and said it made no sound to Hawaii News Now. Even, in a video released by the news site, a woman can also be heard saying, "Something is in the sky, what is that?"
Due to several different sightings of the mysterious and unexplained UFO in the area, police officers on Oahu notified the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for comment. So police contacted the Federal Aviation Administration on Tuesday evening, Dec. 29, about a witness' report of a possible crashed plane in that area, the FAA spokesman said,Ian Gregor, to USA TODAY.
Explanation for the mysterious UFO
Ian Gregor followed up on the report, but no aircraft were lost in the area and there were no reports of aircraft being delayed. Although the sighting is still a real mystery, as the FAA had no knowledge of aircraft missing from radars, some internet fact checkers have proposed a possible explanation for the mystery UFO.
According to ufoofinterest, there are uncanny similarities between the UFO of interest and LED kites. Even with some astronomers believing in aliens, UFO sightings are usually not persuasive. They usually end up being something obvious or simply an image that someone could not explain from their subjective position.
But not to disappoint that these sightings were just potential LED kites, in early 2020 the Pentagon released three videos each featuring a mysterious UFO and declassified. They were also strange and unexplained sightings. Therefore, the aerial phenomena observed in the videos remain characterized as 'unidentified,' they said in a released statement.
